Stupid gangsters, foolish college kids, crooked government guys, and an unconventional PI make life interesting for the authorities. The Feds want the money to get to Chicago so they can capture both ends. The LAPD wants the two stupid thugs for murder: they don’t care about Chicago. Can they work together? Sort of.
